About Mind Data Grid

A Bangkok practice focused on financial audit of payroll processing applications — grounded in how Thai employers actually run pay.

Why we exist

Payroll errors rarely announce themselves as a single wrong number. They hide in overtime formulas, leave encashment rules, and contribution tables that drifted after a legal update. Mind Data Grid was formed in Bangkok to give finance and HR a calm, evidence-based reading of those risks inside the applications they already depend on.

How we began

Our early engagements came from controllers who had migrated pay from spreadsheets into a packaged payroll application and still could not explain variances to external auditors. We built a fieldwork method around sample employees, pay-code inventories, and ledger bridges — language both HR and finance recognise.

Working approach

We prefer read-only access, named samples, and joint walkthroughs. Findings are written so a payroll officer can reproduce the exception on screen. We do not sell software, and we do not ask clients to adopt our preferred vendor.

People

Engagements are led by practitioners with combined backgrounds in financial audit and payroll operations support for multi-entity employers in Thailand. Field teams stay small so the same people who tested samples also present the closing meeting.

Values

  • Specificity over volume — fewer samples examined carefully beat wide extracts nobody reads.
  • Shared ownership of facts — HR and finance both sit in walkthroughs when pay logic crosses both desks.
  • Respect for local practice — Thai statutory tables, pay calendars, and bilingual payslips are treated as first-class evidence, not footnotes.

Thailand context

We work primarily with employers headquartered or operating in Greater Bangkok, with fieldwork extending to factories and regional offices when pay is processed centrally. Meetings can be held at Level 8, 73 Ploenchit Road, Lumphini, Bangkok 10330, or on your site.
